The inaugural conference, held March 11-13, 2007 at Pinehurst Resort, featured Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich as keynote speaker. The event attracted 100 healthcare executives to discuss the future of outpatient care.

The second annual conference was held February 24-26, 2008 at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa. Keynote speaker was Dr. David Gratzer, physician and author of The Cure: How Capitalism Can Save American Health Care. The event attracted 120 healthcare executives.

Greening the Conference

Outpatient Outlook is a carbon neutral event. To offset our impact on the environment, trees will be planted through carbonfund.org. We are taking further steps to “green” the event by reducing the amount of printed material used for the conference, reducing packaging, offering recycling, reducing linen and towel usage, encouraging walking to and from the golf course and providing locally-grown, organic foods where possible.

This CME activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) thru the Joint Sponsorship of the Institute for Medical Studies (IMS) and a5 Group.
